Joshua Springs was developed as a mobile home park in 1982.
In 1986, a "Purchase the Park" committee was formed and on December 14, 1989 the residents became owners of the park as equal shareholders.
Joshua Springs Mobile Homeowners Association is self governing, working out differences through compromise and acceptance of majority rule. A rarity among mobile home parks, Joshua Springs relies almost exclusively on the skills and experiences of its residents to assure the smooth functioning of this multimillion dollar enterprise. There are no paid management or full time employees.
Our Mission is to maintain and enhance the quality of life in the Park while preserving its fiscal integrity by:
1. emphasizing the sharing of information;
2. volunteerism and participation by shareholders; and
3. managing with sound business practices and principles.
We take pride in knowing our neighbors, caring for our long-term residents and welcoming newcomers. Joshua Springs is the ideal place to call home, whether for the winter "season" or full-time. We have one of the lowest monthly homeowners fees around and work hard to keep it that way. Included in the monthly fee are property taxes on the land, cable television, water, trash, and all maintenance of common areas and recreational amenities. Our clubhouse has a kitchen and seats over 100 people. It is available free for use by our residents for private parties year-round.
